Good evening.

I have a question: what is the size of Snap On K60 and what is the weight?

I can not find any catalogue which lists the size.

What is the dimension of the box?

How deep are the drawers (from inside)

If you have a link to the catalogue or a copy of few pages, please list it.

Thank you!

Thank you, Thehorse13 and Oldtuleguy!

Wow - 130lb net weight. I never saw one in real life, but for the dimension of 16 1/2 x 30 3/4 x 15 3/4 this is heavy! It's heavier than K200 bottom that I already have!

I think there is one on ebay now in PA, but local pick up. You should drive over and get it!

I know - already got some info on it from the seller. I hope there will be no emergencies at work tomorrow - will try to bid. 9h driving one way though....
It will need a restoration and a hunt for those missing handles.

Good luck! You can ask here (I’ve had a very kind member send me a missing side handle) and the drop door handle and badge from a beat up K56 were perfect matches for my K60👍
I also looked up “art deco drawer pulls” on ebay and found matching ones as well.

Thank you, Ooba Tooba. The problem is that the early K60 had different handles (I assume you have a later version which was wide and "wavy", Early models had narrower handles and were probably bakelite.
However, if I get lucky tomorrow (I am not sure yet how far I would go with bidding given additional $300+ for travelling and hotel to get it + probable restoration (I assume the worst without seeing it....)

Realistically though, I will do what you did - at least for the outside one...

You wouldn't happen to have an extra one of those art deco drawer pulls, would you? :)

That one is unique. It has the friction slides so it's not the earliest version, bakelite drawer pulls from the oldest style with metal button knobs from the later version.

Confess - who got it???

Congratulations!!!

It was deadly quiet and nobody showed the interest. The bids escalated last 10 s (that's when I entered mine, but got outbid...)
Well, the hunt continues

The guy who has 2 boxes also just told me that he is not ready (will e-mail him in a while again...)

Good try, it wasn't to be. And no, it wasn't me. 😉

I wish that I knew you were in the market for a K60. I passed over half dozen of them last season alone. The next one that comes up, I will pass you the lead.

Thank you, Thehorse13! It would be appreciated!
I guess very few boxes were left in MA or in proximity of it...

Wow, I've only seen one down here, and that was in South Carolina. Haven't seen one in person.
This sort of thing happens around here. All at once you'll see a bunch of rare stuff come up and then it will go ice cold for years. I've passed on a few K200s last season as well. One guy played games with me so that was an automatic pass. The last K60 I came across I almost bought as a trade item. Unfortunately the seller did me dirty and sold the box to a guy in PA while already making a deal with me. Interestingly, I know the collector who bought it. We had a good laugh about it.
