snap on kart

Currently in discussion with my dealer on price. But I would like any comments good or bad about the box. Plus I think it will look good with my twins 1032 & 1033
Will be using it to hold diagnostic and electronic tools.

No bad comments. It's perfect for my needs - almost. If buying again - I would have added 4 swivel castors and 4 x 2" drawers. Apparently you can add custom drawer configurations now when you order.

Sliding top works great! I also added a side panel and air tool holder for impacts / drill.

Edit: Drawers are only 18" deep x 34" wide. Width is perfect, but ideally drawers would be 24" deep. Oh yeah - drawers only come with one slider on each side, even on the 8 " drawer. So I had to buy 4 more at $30 each for the heavier drawers. Which I was choked about considering the price for the box. And the sliders are made in Taiwan!

Not going to be for heavy stuff, all diagnostic and electronic and electrical stuff. Test harnesses and break out boxes and the pile of download cables. The feature that gets me is to have computer on top and slide it open to get needed piece.
I will talk to my snappy guy.
But there is a side locker available for it, have you ever seen one?

The slide top is good in theory but pretty obnoxious if you work in any sort of space constraint. Those get to be as wide as a 2 bank box with it open. I've worked out of a KRSC40 for a few years now and love it. The 40 is the same box but flip top with 4 drawers, I wish it was 6 but I can't complain for the deal I got on it.

I have space constraints and that is when the shop is not open. But it is my shop so I govern what space I have. The addition of a second krl allowed me to dump a husky toolbox and toolbench and that freed up more space with giving me more bench space.
I would prefer a 4 drawer KRSC43 if drawers were larger, but I really like the idea of sliding top as projects collect on top of surfaces.
Been trying to come up with an electronics kart one to keep scanner and computer along with scopes and then the related mass of wires that have been collected. Then meters and other test equipment such as fuel injection and other pressure gauges.
I do not work out of a box, I pick the equipment I need from boxes at shop load it into crates pack it into the back of suburban and off to the race track.
