Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "KEWN series."

My question is: How does the new drawer retention work?

I'm curious as all hell 'n back. :)

I saw the new Epiq when It came out, and I was a little impressed at first, untill I took a better look at it, and to me it looks cheesy and feels flimsly. My dealer has one on his truck right now with out the power bank, not sure of the model, I played around with it a bit, Im not impressed at all. To be blunt it remids me of a childs toy, and is not even in the selm relm as the KRL series.

I havent been too impressed with Snap on lately, As of the last year Ive only been buying there hand tools that I know are made in the us. The new stuff thats been comming out seams to be **** from overseas.

Million dollar question. I'm dying to see one of these in person.

Do snappy dealers have any brochures for the Epiq's yet?

I watched the video, it's just like Grip Latch!! :shocking:

It's been a few months since I had my hands on one so I went back and watched the video. It's not like the Craftsman grip latch.

On the grip latch the entire drawer pull moves up. The Epiq's have a piece at the edge of the drawer pull that moves.

My bad, I've slept since I first looked at one.

That whole silver strip moves; I don't know if I'd like that. :headscrat

I LOVE the Cornwell latch system the best. :)

I hope I don't get struck down by a bolt of lightning for saying this but...........I kinda like the new Cornwell drawer latch set up better than my Snap-on.:willy_nil

I like Cornwell's toolbox sizes, the drawer latches, and the drawer layout and configuration, I just don't care for where they are made.

I don't care for where they're made either, but I'm guessing Cornwell didn't have much choice since they have to rely on somebody else to make their boxes. I guess they didn't want to ask Matco to make their boxes. :D

I heard Cornwell switched to a new supplier recently, does anyone know who it is now?

the drawers are also tilted back just a little bit so the drawers close easier.
yes similar to grip latch. it has been a few months since I have opened one. they are too big to fit on my truck so I havent ordered one yet for the truck
