I just ordered a kit to replace the guts in my Snap On TL72 1/4" drive ratchet. It looks like the screws that hold the kit in, are a very small Torx head screw. Does anyone know if they supply a small Torx wrench to remove these screws in the kit? If they are not Torx, could you please tell me what they are? thanks Junk

I have never seen a kit with the a torx bit to use.

Neither have I, but when I ordered the kit from Snap On Customer Service, I asked about this, and was told that a bit driver was included with the kit. I asked because I figured that since I didn't have one, I would get one in advance, so when the kit came, I would be prepared to install it. I have never seen a Torx that small before.

My 1/2 Drive ratchets use a T15. My 3/8 Drive us a T10 but are also slotted so a flat blade will work but a T10 does not fit my 1/4 Drive ratches. If a T8 is the correct size then I guess I will have to get a Torx screwdrive with a repair kit too.
