I've moved triple banks quite a few times with the UHaul ramp trailers. It's really not that big a deal. I always empty the contents into plastic bins before the move though; tools + box could easily exceed the weight capacity of one of those trailers. The bins of tools go inside my SUV.

Just got a used KRL722, stainless top, drawer liners for $1650. Not the best deal but its like $6500 in the snap on book.

I try to do it monthly. I am pushing my storage capacity, and it can be a real pain when tools start getting stacked.
It takes 6-8 hours to do it right depending if we wax the box or not.

Next toolbox move I do, I'm taking pictures. I move a fair number of these things, and apparently I do a good-enough job I've moved several guys, several times; a couple ask for me by name. I don't claim to be cheap, either.

I understand doing it yourself, and I marvel at what some of the guys here can do, but for what some of you have invested in your boxes, and how Important they are to your profession (or your garage), why not pay the money and get another professional to do it for you, "just this once?"

I will be the first person to get in the line to slag my own industry, too. There's lots of guys doing my job that shouldn't be doing anything more complicated than refilling the coffee machine at 7-11 with water, much less transporting a loaded rollcab. Shop for a reputable company the same way you do anything else. We are out there, just sometimes further away.

that is indeed a kr555. i doubt you would want it, it is pretty beat up, worn paint, chips and scratches. and it was broken into at one time, about 10 years ago. i straightened the damage, and stuck the $2000 insurance money in my pocket.

out of curiosity. assume it didn't have any damage. what would you offer for it ?

well if its not for sale i dont know id offer a dollar... but if you said $*** in the condition its in if i come get it i might buy it not really sure....
id have to see it and know how much. i bought one not too long ago in decent shape and id like another
