Snap On Klr756a

I bought this at a local action for $50.00.
The listing called it a big rolling toolbox and the drawers are hard to open and a couple of them would not close.
The lock has been drilled out.
I am taking out the drawers and the slides are stuck. I want to remove the slides and clean them.
My question is do I just pry up with a pry bar and pull forward. I don't want to force it
Another question is what are the rails on the front sides of this box

Somebody who actually has one of these will probably jump in with a better answer than me, but from what I just did on a box that looks similar in era to yours:

Pull a drawer slide all the way out, then move it in and out a little, looking thru the openings in the side for a screw or rivet that holds the slide to the box near the outside edge. If you see one, you can drill that out, then move the slide up then towards you (whack it sorta gentle with a chunk of 2x4). If you don't see it, there's probably a claw/tang thing part way back on the slide that you have to disengage with a bent screwdriver or similar tool.

Grab yourself a credit card or some thin plastic card. Run it between the slides and the wall. Where the card stops is where the claw is. You'll have to pry very gently next to the claw. The pry bar will have to be thin and almost at a 90 degree bend. If you don't mind waiting, you could order the special pry bar that Snap-on makes specifically for removing slides. It's the SPP-837 and it's around 10 dollars.

Ok thank you I got them all out.
Some of the slides are stuck with old grease that has turned to chunks.
Some of the slides ball bearings have fallen out. Can these be fixed or will I need new slides?

I will call Snap on tomorrow. 6 out of 7 left hand slides are broken. If they are 80.00 each then my 50 dollar toolbox was not such a good deal

Don't know if they'd still have slides for elderly boxes but Snap On will warranty the slides for their boxes. I have done this more than once. give it a try. The part number for the slide is on the side of the slide itself.

I don't think it is covered under warranty since I am not the original buyer. As far as I can tell there are no part numbers on the slides.
