I'd be in for the reimbursement pot as well. The reality is, however, that by and large this forum is populated by honest folks that go the extra mile to ensure a positive buying/selling experience as there are very few threads like this one. I will not hesitate to buy again here. There are a few bad apples everywhere.
After I mashed the "send" button yesterday I thought maybe I had been a bit harsh on the guy. He could have had a family emergency, accident or other incident that prevents him from responding. Maybe he is in desperate need of cash for whatever reason and he feels compelled to raise $$ any way he can. However, the evidence to date suggests that he is a low life. Unfortunately, the cyberworld expedites the transfer of goods and money by connecting buyers and sellers with a few keystrokes, but makes it a whole lot easier for criminals to pick your pockets with little fear of retribution.
FWIW, I cruised thru the forum to get a feel for this guy's previous history and he seems to have been a reputable member for a couple of months, even posting a picture of himself in one thread.
Above, someone mentioned that the +3% option is preferable to the gift option, at least potrentially providing some recourse for a transaction gone south. Live an learn, I now concur!
