Snap On KR-1022 Trade?

My SO guy just took a trade on a KR-1022, its in good shape. (Didn't get a pic as it was in truck) He offered it straight trade for my KRA-2422. Is this a OMG take it or pass? Thanks gang.

I'd take it if it'll work for you. The way my shop is set up not all of the bays have much room. The 2 guys that have had those deep krl boxes have had issues. That's one of the things I looked at when I bought mine.

That is a gigantic upgrade. Nicer, heavier built box, with almost 50% more storage (6300 sqin/23,000 cu in vs 9500 sq in/33,700 cu in), 24 vs 30 in. depth. Retail on the KRL is over 50% more than the KRA.

Honestly, I'm shocked a dealer would offer a trade like this unless the KRL-1022 has something majorly wrong with it.

In my opinion, this is a deal you don't pass up unless it won't fit where it needs to go.
