Snap-On KR-23 Tool Box Restoration Help

So I recently found a KR23 box out on bulk trash night. I have saved it and would like to restore it.

First question is, what is the correct paint code for the hunter looking green on the box?

Second question, which decals if any would have been on this box?

Any and all help help would be greatly appreciated.

Nice early box. No slides on draws . They were grey. Some had oval snap on decal. Here is a grey k5 from 30s. Same type of thing just bigger.

Who does? I found a no name five drawer roller on the curb one time in reasonable shape and considered myself lucky!

Thanks for the information sir. I’m going to get started on the restoration today. I don’t like projects sitting around for too long. I never get to them.

Is there a paint code to get close to the original color?

This is mine from early '40s I believe. Seems to be original paint.

No code I know of, and the shade of gray even seems to vary year to year. Just sort of a medium gray. I would probably just use primer and a satin clear coat.

Did the outside restoration. Well semi restored. I didn’t go nuts getting every dent and ding out. I think it cam out pretty damn good and I’m happy with it. I’m finishing up the drawers this weekend.
