Had this box given to me, and there seems to be little info out there about it. My source says this one dated to about 1964.

Anyone have a picture of what the contents looked like??

Your box is from 1955, that's what the 55 after the made in USA means. It would have looked like this, this picture is missing the ratchet and looks like and extention or two but will give you good idea of the original contents

Thanks for that. I was expecting more in the way of sockets, I was thinking some pieces were missing. Your picture explains a lot. Do you know the drive size? Maybe 1/2".

The 1964 reference was when the original owner acquired it. I'm helping a lady friend clean out her father's garage....lots more items to follow.

Mainly S/O, Gray and Herbrand, no sets just odd pieces.

He worked at a transport company, maintaining their trucks.
