I got this on Craigslist for $450. I want to tear it apart and repaint it, then clean and lube the slides.
The question is do I leave the "65th Anniversary Showcase" stuff on there or get some brushed stainless or aluminum and put that on there? Is it worth anything?
Then how much is it worth after its resin?

looks like a decent score for $450

personally i'd clean it up, give it a good rubdown, and put it to use.

i'd leave the showcase trim on it also.

doesnt make it "worth" any more,
it was just one of SO's earlier "special edition" ideas, long before anyone else thought of the special edition ideas, (sometimes) goofyazzed graphics, and a toolbox that wasn't
red
