snap on KR box

.. I'm restoring a Snap on 5 drawer roller box,.with the optional drawers not added...(it has the bare plate on the lower portion... 1966?) I think it a KR , ( anyhow the 5 drawers are the pre -aluminum trim, and are just painted.... )
Does anyone know if any aluminum trim was available on these early drawers ?...seems grimmy fingers would of raised havoc on the red paint...
Anyhow id like to put some trim on them... perhaps aluminum....I actually thought I saw a photo of one that had it added...
I'm not sure shiny tape or stickers would work long,.... any on the later trimmed drawers the trim is quite "square".... Thanks !

Maybe call snap on and ask them if there is a kit.

Have a look on the back of the roller and you'll find the model number of the box. Some of the older Snap-On drawers are shaped differently than the newer boxes with the aluminum pulls. Giving Snap-On your KR# may yield a set that fits from a different model.

It’s a KRA 377A...I’ll have to see what snap on says.
