Snap On Kr1000 handle removal

does any one know how to remove the handle off the kr 1000A series toolbox

There should be 2 hex bolts attaching it to the box. Just remove them.

just looked can't find the hex bolts on the kr1000

Did you try popping a drawer out and inspecting the back side of the handle?

i think they are behind the little plates that say "snap on" on them. the plates are held on with some double stick tape. be careful taking them off as they are not sold individually.

there was a thread the other day with a guy wanting the part number for just the cover plates....

This is correct. Had to pop the cover pieces t take mine off, be careful!
