Snap On KR558

Hi, all. I have a Snap On KR558 bottom box, circa late-'60s or early-'70s. Scored it free on the side of the road a couple years ago (WITH A MAC TOP AND INTERMEDIATE)!

But it needs help, and I don't know where to look...

It's been missing the lock since I've had it. There's a rod behind the empty hole where the tumbler should be, and I think everything will work if I can just get a lock assembly and key.

Any ideas?

Finally found a pic online that makes me think I'm missing something besides just the lock...

Whew! What a week!

I have not taken any pics (sorry, but work has been hectic), although I did stumble across a cheap lock and begin working on a solution. I will post pics of it completed, when I finally get around to it.

Some of you may already know what I'm up against: crank-shaped rod that needs to be turned 180° by a lock, with no way to attach to the cam. (That's what I'm working on.)

Tough to find those "stolen moments" sometimes to take care of my own equipment at work.
