Snap on KR657B tool box

I apologize if this is in the wrong place.

I'm going to sell this tool box and have not had much luck finding a comparable one to get an idea of price. The current Classic series in this same size are ridiculously priced. I'm sure this one is not worth even half, but maybe?
I'm just looking for a realistic idea of what to ask for it please. The box is 36" wide, and in 95% condition. It's lived a very charmed life in an extremely clean environment. It's s little dusty from its ride home in an open trailer.

First off, if it's a 657, it's not 36" wide. Depends on location and how fast you want to sell. Realize your competition is the HF44" bottom box for most people.

Where do they measure from? From the handle to the other side it's 36". 33.5" across the top, excluding the handle.

I am in western Montana. Not a real big market but I know enough people that make their living out of tool boxes to get the word out.

It's classed as a 33" box. Over or even close to $500 is rather unlikely. They are pretty small compared to modern boxes and have somewhat of a limited market.

I'd pay 500 gladly, I'm looking for a box to put my household stuff in, in the basement. Too bad you're not local. Maybe a lube tech just starting out would be interested in it. Your market is probably tough out there.

I just purchased the KR657/KR637/KR292 combo. I'm very happy with the boxes, well build, ball bearing slides. I only use it as another box in my home garage.
I think a clean KR-657 should bring 500$
That being said I only paid 315$ for the set, all depends on what the market in your area will bring and how bad you want to sell it

Market around here is ******, that thing would go for a lot of money and I'd be willing to pay quite a bit more than 500$ if the pictures aren't deceiving, it looks absolutely mint.

Just trying to be realistic. BTW I have one as well as a few others including the true 36" version (kr655) and the hf44", so I speak with 1st hand experience, as usual.

I'd gladly put my money where my mouth is if I were local, like people have been saying the market is half the battle, if not 3/4 or more. Have a look at what's on the market right now here:

Pickings are pretty damn slim, I've been shopping for boxes roughly for the last 3 years though I've only been serious about buying the last 2 months, lived in an apartment before and had no room to store it, and no budget for that matter either.

And before you ask, he wants 3200$ for that orange Snap On plus tools.

Best deal I've missed in that time frame? This Snap-on stack about 3 years ago for 320$, still kick myself for it but it just wasn't feasible at the time. And this was most definitely the exception to the rule, normally at that price point for Snap On you get a basket case that's almost too much work for what it's worth.

It must be wonderful going through life thinking you know it all. Anyways, sure i'll put my money where my mouth is, for example I have a guy delivering a snap-on cart today i'm going to purchase, roughly the same size, same condition, and MORE money. I'll even stuff some more money in mouth, if the OP doesn't sell it locally, hit me up and we can work out a fastenal shipment deal. Anyone else would be welcome to as well.
