Snap-On KRA-223A - used for different kits?

I've got an early 1960's KRA-223A box that I'm trying to dig up some history on. Doing a quick search, it looks like that box may have been used for several 1/4" socket kits. Can anybody confirm that?

I was also trying to find a date code on it. Although I didn't find it, someone suggested that there may be two digits after Snap-on's address stamped into the bottom. I need to check when I get home.

I went out to my shop to see what the number was on mine but it is a kr122
