Hi everyone,
I just picked up a mid 1960's Snap-On KRA-300B.
Does anyone know how to remove the aluminum front door?
I want to really clean this box up and possibly do a full restore on it.

Thanks

I've also a 300B, but since I no longer do full restorations, I never tried to get the tambour out. Will watch with interest to see what is the technique.

I just looked at my '63 300. Mine has two screws in the "garage door" track. When I first got mine, I had to replace the missing the lock. The track flexed enough to pull the door pass to get my fingers in. When you are done, want to restore mine?:bounce:

Just checked the tracks and mine has two rivits. Normally I would consider just drilling them out, but the track is one piece all the way through to the back of the box and it is all welded in (and mostly not accessible).
I was able to figure that out by removing the door handle and sliding it as far back as possible.

So still haven't figured it out yet.
I am wondering if it is not possible to do?
