so i will most likely be ordering a box off the snap on truck in a month or two, i have pretty much decided on a classic 96. my question for you guys is how customizable are they when ordering off the truck? i know looking in the cataaalog there are 9 different colors and a few different trim options. do you have to pay extra for the trim options? i would like to get a extreme green with either the blue or titainuim trim, but looking on gj and other site i have only seen the classics with chrome or black trim. does anyone have any insight or know anything about the ordering process? thanks guys

I think the only extra was if you ordered the high gloss finish, but i could be mistaken

My classic 96 was on the truck (and I got a great deal on it) so I can't say anything about the ordering process, but I can say good choice and you'll be very pleased with the box. My first box was a 78 but it didn't take me long to upgrade to the 96. One thing I highly recommend is the stainless steel top for it. I actually worked my deal and got him to throw the top in for free. I'd give that a shot if I were you.

From what I understand the Rock and Roll Cab Express is the truck that allows free customization. They do usually charge for anything custom and it will usually take longer to get. Find out from your dealer about the Rock and Roll truck and wait for it. You can customize the drawers for free as well. You may find that you can get a much nicer box with the discounts too. Do you have a box to trade in?

I do have a box to trade in, but my dealer says if I trade it in I won't get the promotion get money off the new one, so if I take the promotion I can keep my old box and sell it myself then put all the proceeds towards the new box. I just haven't seen any really customized classic 96's, they all look the same to me with the chrome trim.
