The local snap-on guy approached me today, knowing that I wanted a new toolbox.. He said that he was sent about 5 boxes more then he ordered and he is able to give a killer deal. I don't have my own box so this is quite enticing. The price out the door delivered would be 3718 with tax... It is a KRA2422 in Extreme Green with a Stainless top. Is this a decent price ?

I see flat black ones on ebay $2495, other green ones that sold for $3600.

too much should be about 3k tops, market gets flooded with them , thats the student box
Snap On has financing but you'll pay for it. Look on CL for a gently used one.

I bought this box without a stainless top direct from Snap-On using the student discount program. This was a couple years ago but it was $2100 delivered plus they gave me a $300 gift certificate I could redeem with the local dealer.
