just picked up a tidy KRA33 technicians chest (off eBay )
its missing the nameplate ,anybody have a part number for it? ,
its a smaller size badge with two mounting holes instead of the usual 3

Snap on UK were useless and could not even find anything on their system ,
the box does come up but with limited parts when I looked

What are the mounting hole CTC dimensions? Snap on still sells those badges IIRC, they were also used on some side boxes from the late 80's on. Basically a shrunk down version of the full size badges. Snap on themselves or ebay should have one.

There are only two mounting holes 83mm apart , total width between edge of box and the locking bar is approx 205mm.

I've tried my snap on man ,nothing but plastic stick on ones seem to be the norm now

I may have found a new badge on German eBay , it's got two pins and total length of 110mm.

They used a smaller badge into the early 1990's. It may fit. You'd have to order it through your truck guy, they don't sell badges on the website for some reason.

Last one I needed, I was working on a KR-290 end cabinet. Might fit the bill for you.

That is exactly the one I was thinking of. I can't remember how they mount though. I'll have to look at mine. For some reason I think those might actually be to small :headscrat

They list part numbers for certain badges, but you really have to dig for them. When you put the description of "name plate" into the online store it comes up with nada. :dunno: Their website is very infuriating at times.

I had a chance to look/measure. The one off a KR290 is the one you want. ~4" long, two mounting studs. Not sure of the actual part number, the one I have is a 1988 IIRC. Maybe try to find the newest side box that used the smaller badges. Around the mid 90's I think they changed to one size badge for the main and side boxes.

If you were in the states I'd mail you one. I believe they are still available. I'd have to check when I get back to my truck on Monday. The shipping to UK would be $$$
