Wondering if anyone knows if a full-size locker from say the master series..would fit one of these carts? Or maybe the powerdrawer end cabs?

Specifically thinking about a KRA5012F any ideas? Would the lid still close? Should fit with an adapter I suppose. More concerned if I'd be able to close the lid or not still..

Now the box and the side cab are joined:

Like a crack head, i put 3 more things on order from Snap-on. One these are on im DONE and i will have a box like no one else. Stay tuned. :)

You should have just bought a roll cab. That's going to be a very top heavy box given how thin they are.

Can I custom order a box with the drawers how I want them? Like 4 2" drawers and then a couple 4" and on 8" on a KRSC46H?

How do I go about doing that?

Any help appreciated.

Benjamin's have the power to do anything.

Purchased my krsc off of here a few years ago! Still In love use as a main box I am a diesel tech. Now looking to expand. Has no one put a off brand side cabinet on the side? At 1300 kra4820 and 30 are to expensive. Mac has one that fits but it's about 3 inches longer so if would hang a lil. Wondering how funny it would look.

Alright guys! Purchased the adaptor plate and went with the harbor freight end cab! This thing is heavy it feels solid, lock feels good, the draws feel good. I am very happy with it. Needed more space and couldn't justify the price of the snap on end cab. Almost purchased a new Mac box but the price didint make me feel good. For a total of 350 I am very happy. The end cab is deeper. So from the back is hang about 2 inches. It hangs about an inch lower then the krsc. To me no big deal.

Ah ha! Is that a limited SUPREME HYBEBEAST edition roll cab?

How did you get the side cabinet to hang on to the slotted plate? Can you take it off easily and show what you did?

Where can I find part numbers & prices for drawers for the KSC46? I want to replace one of my 4" drawers with 2 2" drawers, but when I load up the parts diagram from the Snap-On site, it doesn't list the part numbers for the drawers or the rails.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Me and the old lady broke up. I bought her this dresser and she painted it. I never did like it because it's very inefficient on space. So I upgraded.

KRSC326 AND KRSC46.

I paid $400 for the 326 on CL, and $500 for the 46 on Offer Up.

It looks like I can buy a sheet of vinyl wrap that's big enough for the 46 on eBay for about $28. I was thinking of doing it OD Green

That's a popular mod, part numbers have been posted in this thread already.

A 4" drawer in extreme green is 4107FJL82PJJ

If you play with bold underlined digits you can find all drawers for your box. That digit is half the drawer height in inches.

So the 2" drawer would be: 4107FJL81PJJ

The slides are 8-05088ALRS

Can't seem to find it, and didn't notice it skimming through this thread, but is there a stainless top option or just the top mat for the krsc46? My google skills aren't turning up much at the moment, or I'm just doing it wrong lol.

Re: Snap on krsc46 mod thread .

Modded my 246 to accept a BOLT brand lock cylinder that accepts my GM center cut key and cut and bent up a new latching arm. I hate having a bunch of keys in my pocket.

The new cylinder is quite a bit bigger than the original Snap-On one, I took a piece of round stock the same size as the old hole and turned the end to fit in a hole saw Arbor for a pilot to cut the new hole.

I couldn't justify spending $90+ on the new bolt in power strip from Snap-On that includes USB, or the $60 model without USB, so I did some research and found an excellent alternative on Amazon for $18:

What I like about this power strip is that it offers mounting tabs if you wanna screw it in place, it provides three 2.4A USB outlets for charging my phone & flashlights, and also that it fits more flush against the back of the tool box than the Snap-On one, which helps to maximize space. it also spaces out the outlets for wall adapters, which is also a shortcoming of the Snap-On power strip. The power cable is just long enough to touch the ground (4.5ft) and also has a flat plug on the end, which is nice if you keep your box against a wall with an outlet.

I mounted the power strip to the box with 3M double sided adhesive strips, just because I didn't wanna drill new holes into the box. You could easy center punch & drill new holes in the box to mount it, and gain a tad more clearance, but I was fine with the adhesive mounting solution.

I always try to avoid having to bundle up excess cable, so I went ahead & found a short flat plug adapter cable for my Snap-On 14.4v charger, and a 1ft Micro USB cable so I can charge my Streamlight flashlight:

Oh, and I also added the Harbor Freight side tray. This is the one for their larger 5 drawer carts. I had to drill 4 new holes in it, and use a set of 1/2" standoffs, but otherwise it fits great, and the color match is spot on:

Hey everyone, hope this thread is still alive. Been lurking here for a while, finally signed up and have been doing a little modding of my own on my KRSC 416. Here’s how it looked when I picked it up, versus after I got all of the house paint off it.

When I bought it I didn’t know much about the KRSC 416 and that they were discontinued or how messed up the cart actually was. Someone had altered the stainless slide top lid in the way that it was now a flip top style

Hey wkderf ,

I found a 1ft micro USB cord but I'm having trouble finding a 1ft flat AC power cable like yours. Do you have the like for the one you ordered? Thanks!

Does anyone know of a display panel mount from Snap On that fits these 4 holes in the middle?

Ok, I found the side cabinet with drawers but I haven’t seen the side locker yet. What’s the part number to that thing?

The end cab is a KRA4830. I’d post the URL but I guess I don’t have enough posts to do that. [emoji2371]

Re: Snap on krsc46 mod thread .

Picked up a KRSC46HBFI for cheap over the weekend. Seems to be a lot for sale locally for some reason. Now to decide if I keep it or keep my KRSC43. [emoji848]
