Well the Rock and Roll truck came around the other day and they gave me such a great deal on a hutch and locker that I could not pass it up. So they are both ordered and I should see them anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks depending if they have any in stock or not.

I am in the middle of paging through the entire toolbox thread again, about halfway so far, looking for organization ideas. My plan would be to take everything out of my cart and get it in my main box, then either sell, downsize, or take my cart home. Also I don't think I can shell out $400 for the hutch light when I'm sure I can build something. Also, where to get some accessories that work with the Slots and Dots that won't cost a fortune. So if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them, and pictures speak a thousand words

First pic is my current box, second pic is a members box which is what mine will look like when everything shows up.

Hey that's a nice box! ( that's mine on the right, btw) You're gonna love the hutch and the locker is great for stuff in cases I got the light in mine, it was so worth it. It has magnetic brackets and a switch so it turns on when you open the hutch. As far as the slots and dots stuff, I just put a couple shelves. I keep a laptop on the top and while I'm working I use the top for parts and tools. So I didn't want to hang a bunch of stuff in the back. One thing I did when I got that box was I bought 3M clear bra film and put it on the edges of the drawers. I wanted the carbon drawer edge guards but I couldn't justify the cost. My job just built a new bigger shop so I'm thinking about another locker. The only problem when you have more space, you collect more ****.

Thanks. I use the top of my box quite a bit during the day too as well as a laptop. Any pics I side the hutch and locker? And how much can you move shelves and drawers inside the locker?

I don't have any more pics of the inside. Maybe Monday, we just moved today and I need to get organized. The locker has 3 shelves and drawers on the bottom. The shelves can be moved and there are dividers for the drawers. If I take pics I'll try to show how you can move the drawers and shelves. The hutch is cool because there are holes in the back with grommets to pass cords thru. I wish the locker had those because I have 4 or 5 chargers I would prefer to keep in there.

I bought the hutch/locker separately within the last eight months. This is how I currently have it set-up but I re-organize it as I buy different tools and stuff.

The trays/shelves ( slots-n-dots )etc.. that snap-on offers IMO are a good deal. They are extremely sturdy and fit perfect.

Y'all have got my dream box. Even though I'm on the road now instead of working out of the shop, I'd have a hard time resisting that box if I came across it.

Nice!

I have a power strip on the top shelf. There is an x-cord run in the interior back that goes out the top.If you feel the rear corners of the shelf you will notice just enough room to run a cord in there.

Thanks, I'll check that out

I have a KRL1023 with a 1056 hutch. I use LED lighting (15 meters of #5050) on the door to illuminate the working area. I used to have 5m but it wasn't quite enough. I have a 27in monitor on the back wall and a laptop in there, custom power management and a 4-speaker Pioneer stereo custom built in there too. I'm very happy with it but I would really like a side locker. I'll put up some pics of the lighting in a couple days. I didn't find any on my phone.

thats nice locker setup. but for the money snap on charges for master series lockers. i went and add on epiq locker next to my snap on toolbox and its twice the size and hold more for same amount of money plus they are deaper and can have wheels left on them to move around instead of bolted on to toolbox.plus the cooler matched mine perfect and the trim was very close to matching my master series setup i have. ill get picture upload tomorrow to show you then.
