Hey guys, I've got a Snap on KRL box with a broken handle. It still has the chrome mounts but it is missing the middle bar. Have any of y'all made a replacement yourself? Snap-on sells the entire thing but not just the bar as far as I know. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas? Just a 1" pipe cut to size? May just have to attempt myself.
Not the best pic but I'll get a better one when I get home. Should show the chrome part I'm talking about.

I would love to have a set of boxes like that!

Might check with Snap-On to see about the replacement part (is what I would do). That way keep it more original.

If it was me, I would bite the bullet and buy the replacement handle. If you have the fabricating capability, it would be possible to make something yourself. I have never seen it done.

Challenge accepted!
$100 bucks for the handle isn't terrible but still it seems like just a pipe. Maybe my snap-on guy can hook me up.
