Even as a 20 year old box both of those seem like good deals. Atleast from the photos.

Prices vary by area. What could be a killer deal in one area could be way too much in another.

Also it would be ised in a professional environment, basically will a 20 year old box last me the rest of my career?

all depends on how long you expect your career to last...:dunno:

i bought my kr 550/555b boxes in '86..

i have SO boxes from the late 70's that are still in excellent condition.

i figure i have another 10 years that i'll physically be able to do my job working on const eq.

my boxes arent going anywhere....

I'd say the 2,500 sounds about right. They look to be in excellent condition, and the boxes of this era, 1990's, have proven to be some of the best made by Snap On.

If you are serious, condition warrants it and you can swing it, I'd probably go with the full set. The odds of you piecing together the matching side box and locker in the future is rather grim. For "only" $1500 more.

I would say those are reasonable prices. As long as you can still get parts and accessories, go for it.

Great deals sell in a day or two. Those have been up about a month.Look a few hours away if you could travel.Cleveland isn't that far is it? Like all said above their not that bad a deal if that's all that's around your area.I see that size locker for $700 often.
Here's KRL1001 for $1600. I bought a newer single lock with hutch $1550
