I have been considering picking up one of these carts for a few weeks now. I currently have a HF 56" box that is just not standing up to the daily abuse. I have a question on the KRSC46, does anyone know if sockets will stand in the drawers in a socket tray? Most of the pictures i have seen around have the sockets in the top section. Any info is appreciated.

Yes the sockets will stand up in the drawer. I have the same cart for work. I have my 1/2 inch us sockets on the peg type socket holder and closes fine.

Mine are laying down in trays, but you can see that even the deeps could stand on end.

I have the KRA4114\4107 combo and from my understanding they use the same drawers as the KRSC46? Assuming that is correct then you will probably have issues with 1/2 drive deep sockets.

The drawers are 3.5" deep. The Hansen 1/2 drive socket tray is 3.75" tall so it's a no go. Now you might be able to find a shorter tray but it's still going to be tight depending on the sockets you have? I measures a few of my 1/2" drive deep sockets and they varied from 3.25' to 3.5" long.

Just assume you will have to lay your 1/2" drive deep sockets on their side or put them in the top compartment.
