The problem with Cornwell is that they dont stop in my area.
Only Matco and Snap On, have seen Mac guy a near by shop, but he never shows up.

If you have a Matco guy look into the JSC750. Its slightly more expensive at around 1700 list but it was made to compete directly with the KRSC46 and even has 2.5" extra in depth over the KRSC, otherwise they're about the same physical size. The lid is also stainless and the top till is deeper. Has a hole through the back of the till to run your charger cables through too if you have them. Made in Jamestown NY. Heres some pics from one of the resident Matco dealers. I know some members own it too and really like it.

I just got an extreme green with black trim and it didn't take very long. The krsc46 also has one more drawer than the Matco.

That's because the Matco cart has larger drawers and, as I said, a deeper till. They have to take the space from somewhere to do that. JRC series also has a higher load capacity per drawer at 140lb for every drawer but the bottom which is 280. Matco also has 15 color options vs Snap-Ons 9.

The 46 is a very nice cart, has a lot of options so you can turn it into a giant cumbersome thing if you so wish, just as far as base model I think the Matco is worth the extra $100 (most dealers will drop the price anyway to compete with the 46's price).

I ordered a KRSC46 in midnight blue a couple weeks ago, it is set to be delivered the first week of March. SO dealer showed me the email, it is set to ship March 2.

That matco cart looks good and that cornwell cart is a lot bigger, 4" wider and 6" deeper way to big for a cart IMO, than the SO KRSC46.

The much bigger Cornwell cart really isn't meant to compete with the KRSC or JSC, a closer contender is the 700 series. The 800 is kind of in a league of its own.

Height x Width x Depth
Cornwell 700 Series 37x38x19 $1200
Snap-On KRSC46 46x40x20 $1600
Matco JSC750 46x40x22 $1700
Snap-On KRSC246 46x34x24 $2300
Cornwell 800 Series 47x44x27 $2300

Another thing I noticed with the cart is that since I'm using it as a main box having more drawers is a lot more helpful in organizing everything. I don't like to keep very big things or boxes in it unless I absolutely have to. So larger drawers were also a waste for me.

I do love the stainless steel top on the Matco but I don't think Id want to put anything on top of that and possibly damage or scratch all that prettiness. Not that I'd do it on my KRSC.

If it matters, the 2 SO, the matco, and the big cornwell are welded body/frame while the small cornwell is bolted together.

ETA-Dont forget about the SO KRSC326, it is also welded frame, but smaller than the KRSC46. Roughly 43x33x20 $1400

Its welded, basically the same construction as a Matco 4S including the slides.

My personal opinion of the krsc46 is that it feels cheap. I got rid of mine. I would like to check out the Matco cart to see the quality difference.

Well best I can tell its based off the Heritage kra2106. It looks like the KRSC246 may be based off a Master series box, the KRL756. Scratch that, it looks like it is based on the Classic series KRA2407, similar dimensions and same load capacity.

i have the krsc246,it is a nice piece, but if your going to use it as a main box you would need more room,at least end cabinets on both sides.btw there is nothing cheap about the way this box was made, its built like a tank.i cant speak to the other carts quality

I have the JSC-750 and now that I see someone saying the KRSC46 feels cheap I don't feel so bad. I bought the Matco because i did not have a snap on guy until 2 weeks ago. The Matco has been ok but also feelings of wanting the snap on have been in my head most days.

Someone says the bottom drawe of the Matco holds all this weight sure it doesn't break but it doesn't roll worth a **** either in mine I have the snap on ball joint kit, what maybe 40 lbs, jump and carry 660 box maybe 40 lbs, brake caliper tool maybe 10 lbs and a couple microfiber towels. This drawer moves like **** barely any weight. The top latches were not lined up that great and chipped the paint on the right side when closing. The top says it can hold all this weight but I put a transfer case on it and it dented 2 spots I didn't drop it on there just placed it. The drawers that are used a lot well the slides squeak opening and closing. When you lock it you have to jiggle the bottom drawer or the top drawers will not be locked. Other than that its great lol. I got an ok price on it. It does fit my needs but I have thought of trying the krsc46 at some point not sure of the quality of that some say it feels cheap but what are the down falls. I think the metal is thinner to make it easier to move around, it is a cart after all

The end of feb is only a couple weeks away 2-3 weeks would not be unreasonable for a color other than red, black, blue
