thanks Adam. I have taken a ratchet and now a socket to the local dealer to be warrantied and I dont want to push my luck with him. I have also been looking at their website and see a few items that I am interested in so I thought I might try to pick up a few things. Thanks for any input folks.

I bought a th737 and a FHNF100 a couple weeks back list was 208.25. He gave me 30$ off so I paid 178.25.

I seldom purchase from the Snap-On man. However when I do the price is the same as the newest published list price which is the same as the website prices.
I could save sales tax by web ordering but then I could not meet him and step into the truck full of chromed steel toys.

Pictures of dead presidents will usually keep someone from paying sales tax.

Although he does have an account for me under my name, I only pay cash. That does not help in this particular case.
I must say that even though I only buy probably around $500 a year from him he is always cordial, willing to help, and easy to talk to. And he usually throws me a small freebie giveaway like a pocket screwdriver. Once a few years ago he gave me a pair of the infamous Snap-On socks.
