I apologize in advance if this specific question has been discussed, but other than length, are there any differences between these two pliers?

I have the larger one, but I have a feeling little brother wants to come stay with big brother. I'll see how long I can resist.I have kept the longer ones in my cart, bought the shorter ones today to try. More often than not I could have gotten the job done with the smaller pair, and most of my issues with the pliers were size related.

I used it the other day to remove and install some e-clips, came in real handy.
Nearly every time the tool isn't working for a task, it's a size issue for me. I keep 10 pair of pliers in my cart, and I think the longer 9" version just doesn't fit. I have too many pliers of similar length thus the 7" can keep the baby Knipex cobras company. While the 9" are a great tool I think the 7" will be a better fit.
