Found this oddball on the ebay.

3/8 drive 16-1/2" long.

It's a special made. The date code looks like 1949. Very hard to tell the difference between 49,56,59 with the stamp this small.

It has the oil hole on top.

Yeah the original. I wonder why it took 60+ years for such a long 3/8 ratchet to hit the market. Still waiting on the knurled handle :headscrat . I have some old ones in the CAT brand.

That is super cool. Side by side it makes the modern ratchet head look like a ridiculous chrome lolly pop.

I would clean that up and start using it tomorrow.
