Got a new set of wrenches off the truck yesterday - OEXL707B.

Got them for a little under $200. These are actually the first set of Snap-on wrenches I've bought, and I believe they were worth it.

I like how thin the box end is, and they appear to be about 1½ to 2 inches longer than my Wright wrenches.

Nice score. That is a great price for those wrenches. I find that the Snap On standard lentgh wrenches are long enough but if I saw this wrench set at that price....I would not be able to resist buying them.

Nice score. I just got a Snap On socket set for $225 Metric deep and shallow 8mm to 19mm, and a dual 80 ratchet. 25pc total. Was you wrench set a Snap On convention special price?

Not sure, but my dealer didn't have any standard length fractionals left on the truck, so he offered me the long patterns for the price of the standard length.

I probably wouldn't have bought them otherwise, but now I just need to work on a second set of metrics. :)

He had a couple sets of those ratchet/socket combos, but I already bought all my sockets awhile ago, bought the deeps and got the shallows free, for all sets. The only way I could see SO sockets being worth it compared to other big name brands.

Now there's a dealer that knows how to move merchandise!

They're nice wrenches, i have both metric and standard sets. They do indeed have very thin box end walls. Only oddity is its pretty much the only combination wrench snap-on sells without FD+ (and maybe the stubbies too). I think they had it around 2000, no idea why they removed it on further revisions.

They sell the standard lengths with a non-FD+ open end as well.

OEX707B

The SOEX wrenches are FD+
