I found this on the side of the road, I thought it was a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter, but the minor end is 7mm. Anyone know what it’s used for? Metric pipe plug?

t's trash. Throw it away - preferably my way.

I've seen these converters in the EU to make US standard tools work on EU metrics, VERY cool if you need it, worthoess otherwise.

I bet the reason it was on the side of the road was the previous owner also thought it was 1/4 adapter. It’s a 9/32 drive adapter. Don’t toss it.

Many other manufacturers also did. During WWII most of the contract tools for the government we're 9/32" instead of 1/4"
Craftsman way back when had a 9/32" set along with Plomb, Snap On.

Looking for the following Plomb Pebbles Wrench 3061
