Free shipping is hard to do as the seller. With tools it seems it will be at least $5.00 to ship. When I sell sometimes that is my profit margin.

Ditto that... If I'm selling something for next to nothing anyways... free shipping is impossible to do. Even USPS shipping prices have come up quite a bit in the last year or two. I will say if someone on this forum buys multiple items or something I'll work a deal on or toss shipping in depending on the total ending price of the items, etc. It really does depend on what things end at. Some of this stuff I listed on here previously and it didn't sell. In those cases if someone would have paid what I was asking I was generally including shipping or splitting the shipping costs with individuals. Once its on ebay I've got more $$ ******* in it with listing/selling fees, etc, etc.

Oh and usually I charge actual shipping cost or close to it (maybe $1 for gas, packing tape, my time, etc). Example.. if I can get it in a flat rate USPS priority box I'll charge $10.. USPS charges $8.95 to ship it. Trust me I'm not starting an item at $.99 then charging $15-20 to ship like alot of these people. Then I still see stuff sell for more than it should. Ebay is a pretty amazing place lol.

FYI, I'm pretty sure that a small flat rate box is now $9.30 (online only).

Why the Snapon name spamming in the titles?
