they are somewhere around 349 and 399. not sure yet, but you had to order them at a meeting to even get one. Luckily my uncle bought a pile of them. they are fast and easy to use. one even does graphing.
so far so good. lets see how they sell.

I believe the pro model was $399 in the October flyer. Another $129 or so if you want the obd1 adapters. It's on my want list. Hopefully I'll get one for Christmas.

I'm interested in one of these also. ABS access with the PRO model is nice. It'd be really cool if it would give restraints (airbag) too.

So since I wasn't in this meeting I will never be able to buy one? I'm confused. Are they currently available? Thanks.

im a dealer. if your dealer was not in the meeting then he will have to wait to get these unless stock gets built up quick. i didnt check stock friday, but they appear to be coming in soon though.

My dealer had a few on his truck Wednesday, no obd1 adaptors, 2 weeks ago I had ordered the bluepoint scanner with obd1 adaptor, which he had promised the next week, I have a car in shop that would be a lot easier to diag with something other than a flaky tech1. Wednesday he promised it for Friday, no call, no such luck, I told him if he could get me an obd1 adaptor, I would buy one of the new ones, am leery of buying one w/o the adaptor and waiting months for it. Is Snap On having that much trouble fulfilling orders? Been waiting over 3 months for an O2 sensor socket. Or is it just this guy? He hasn't had anything I have needed on the truck in 3 months. I have been buying Snap On since the 70's always through the local dealer, but if I can't get service...

the adapters should be on the way. the O2 socket is in stock everywhere. give him the part number and tell him to order one for you.

I had a dealer like that, especially on warranty items. He would tell me that the tools I wanted were on backorder but I would go to see a different dealer and get it by the end of the week.

Hi to all, I also own one off these smart little scanners, best thing i bought for a long time, but i do have a gripe with Snap On thow. I live in the UK and my Snap On dealer has told me that we cant upgrade ours to the Pro version, all it is , is a upgrade, available in the US but not here. I know a few people who have these and they all said that if the upgrade was available here in the UK they would have it done.
Does anyone on this site know if we will ever be able to get the software update here in the uk, or is there any way off updating over the internet with a Snap On dealer in the us. Would be good if we could also have the extra functions like ABS ect.
Thanks for reading and hope for a early reply.
Chris.

Is this scanner along the lines of most of the cheapie scanners out there or is it a lot more?
I'm using this one right now and it's working just fine for 99% of the cars out there.

It looks like it also does ABS, odb1 and enhanced code coverage on domestic vehicles. It also will graph live data for 2 data streams. The ABS ability probably makes it worth it if you do a lot of domestic work.

No OBD1 or dedicated ABS coverage.

I guess I would be lucky that my ODB1 firebird has an ODBII contector, so I could just plug it in and go with out having to buy an adapters.

Don't bet on it; I'm guessing you have a 95 Firebird...
Some GM in 95 used the 16pin OBD2 connector while the vehicle was OBD1. I think the factory used all the 12 pin OBD1 connectors and transitioned to the 16 pin.

This configuration is tough for a lot of aftermarkets to scan; in most cases I have found only the SO scanners will be able to communicate with this configuration.
