shipping seems to really depend. some guys say it takes them a month to get stuff, wile all my orders i have gotten in 7 or so days.
you can always see if a local person can ship you the tools. depending on how much you buy its not to bad in shipping price.

You can still order the micro boxes thru snap on. They deliver usually within 7 days or so. I actually use mine as a jewelry box on my night stand. Go on ebay and find a style you like. The color and style determines the part number you need. Once you know the part number I would call it in. I hate the new website.

I've always had problems getting the micro boxes thru a dealer, seems the only time they get them or want to deal with them is Christmas. You try to order direct from Snap On or Ebay usually has quite a few. I found my KRL1022 micro on Ebay.

might be an idea to get them shipped to a trustworthy member who lives in the area you'll be visiting ahead of time so that you won't miss the window if the order is delayed.

yep, same thing here...when they ran the special to buy the 80 tooth Dual Pawls when they first came out and they came w/ a micro box, my guy (I'm not a pro-wrencher and meet up with him when he's at a shop) messed around and didn't get the order done in time...I'm waiting till they do that again and I'll buy the tool to get the box's then sell the tool new on ebay and hopefully come out better than buying them direct for 81/each (which is what they sell for on Snappy's website)

There are several models, but for the mini top box the numbers on the box I have are -

KMC923APOL - Midnight Blue
KMC923APB - Black
KMC923APJK - Orange
KMC923APJJ - Green

These numbers may help you start your search, and may lead you to other models. The bottom box I have was purchased used, so I don't have the number. There are other colors as well.

There are plenty on eBay uk, bought mine for £40 near mint, lovely little things
All but useless for anything though ,
I had hoped to use it for work for tweezers ,micro screwdrivers and small stuff ( I'm a aircraft instrument Tech) but the drawers are very shallow and small , really only good for pens and post it's
