at 130 for the kit you wont find a better deal on a quality grinder, you can find cheaper grinders but not of the same quality. For 130 id buy 2. I have the snap on pt400 1hp grinder its a beast well balanced doesnt get cold while using and not terribly loud

Do you need 20 000rpms and 1/4" collet? If you don't, I'd recommend a small grinder with an inline motor. On 90* die grinders it's usually the gear set that gives out first.

Something like this:

Just a note: The higher end snap-on die grinders (Like PT400) are basically reskinned older Sioux models. The lower end models are not, though I don't know where the pt110 would fall. What's COO on that one?

Kinda what I figured. Sioux makes real good air tools. For the money new that is going to be very hard to beat. Are there better ones? Sure, especially in the industrial sector (Dotco and the like) but you aren't going to be getting a new one for anywhere close to that price.

I plan on using this grinder for a couple small rust spots I have developing on the inside of my doors of my Dodge Ram.

I want to take off the rust and paint down to bare metal in these areas and just protect them with some gloss black spray paint (they are in an inconspicuous area).

I figured I would need a grinder down the road and thought this could be a good start.
