I have Snap-on MT1665 Counselor digital oscilloscope that I bought a year ago. I've used it a couple times and it has worked great. I got it out today to use it and when I powered it up the screen flutters real bad. I tried a couple different outlets in my shop and made sure I had nothing plugged in that would cause interference. I even tried it on 12 volts input and it did it. I went a head and hooked it up to the car I wanted to test and it seemed like everything worked has it should, but the screen flutters to the point where you can barely read it. So I think it is just something with the display. Anyone out there with any experience with these things? Of course the manual says don't remove the cover if you have a problem. Return to an authorized Snap-on dealer. Kind of bothers me when it was working fine, then when I go to use it the thing has problems.
