What bidirectional functions does a MT2500 perform on a 1995 Chevy C1500/Tahoe? I have both in my personal fleet.

I want to perform a ABS bleed test, live data. Is there a updated or certain cartridge for the bleed function?

I think as long as you have a cartridge that does 1995 your ok. Not sure on what you can do with it but I'm sure live data and some bi directional controls if not all. May or may not need a ABS adapter plug depending on how Chevy set up their vehicles but I don't think so.

There is an ABS cartridge for the brick you need to bleed the brakes, they are $30-40 on Ebay. I bought a box of every cartridge Snap-on made except Euro off a guy for $150 years ago.

Not familiar with the Snapon tool but for a few hundred I got a clone Tech2 that does everything you could want on my 92 C3500.

I saw those online, I thought they were for you Euro/Aussi market. Will they work on pre-OBD2 without buying more cards?

Also thanks everyone for the responses. We have a old Solus in our shop I'm going to see if it goes that far back.

The one I have came with the adaptors for pre OBD2. Used it to diagnose and replace the transmission control module in my 92 diesel. Shows all kinds of live data and codes for older cars.

My experience is that on these models of trucks, even the ABS cartridge is problematic. I bought the ABS cartridge to use in a borrowed " brick" on my 97 Silverado. It still didn't work. As I recall, without a version upgrade, which I either couldn't access or couldn't afford, it would only work on 98-forward. I tried to cheat it by changing the year digit when entering the VIN, but still no success.
