Looking for posts and forum for a vintage Snap-On MT3000 Counselor II. There are a few post on this forum. Since I have picked up on and looking to expand my knowledge base.

I used a Sun many, many moons ago.. but looking to get a good working knowledge on using it now. LMK

There is the MT3000, and the MT3000A. The "A" revision has more protection circuitry, and can display Lambda from the optional exhaust-gas analyzer which won't work properly because the O2 sensor is only good for about six months. Kinda guessing there are no more Snappy-authorized O2 sensors any more. They came in an air-tight metal can like Dinty-Moore beef stew.

Do you have the actual operator's manual?

The O2 sensors were fairly standard and also used for medical equipment.
Chemical reaction based, hence the short life.
0 to 2 V output (the standard chart recorder signal).
The main differences are thread type and connector type (usually 2 wire).
Lots for sale on eBay.
The killer is the price for something that might last a short time.
Last time I bought one it was $30 and was supposed to last a year. Nowadays you are looking at close to $100.
