I have been a mechanic for quite a few years. I got a $700 snap on truck credit for a cheap price from a friend. I have a large assortment of quality tools already. What are some snap on must haves. I have the dual 80 ratchets and a krl722 and more. What should I look into?

Torx bit sockets, Snap-On seems to be the only company that can make a set that is worth a damn. Mini hook and pick set, the best around, period. The ball-peen deadblows are also great. Blue Point bit ratchet, good tool, one of the few Blue Point items made in the USA. Look for the promos and take your time buying stuff that you don't need immediately, your money will go further. Every week when I get on the truck I ask about the promos.

I'll second the ball joint press. Tough sell but by far the most raved about item I sold. One guy bought it at a shop and the very next week the shop owner ordered 5 more sets for his other locations.

Chrome swivels are another choice.

My first post here, so hello all. Been reading on here a while and seems a noce place

Have to agree, if you haven't got the gold coloured (presume that's what wreckerman is talking about) snap on male torx socket set then they're a must.

I've got tools from plenty of manufacurers and there's just some things I wouldn't be without in snap on.

Don't tell the snap on man (lol) but I use my snap on T50 3/8" drive male torx on my 18v snap on impact gun (with 1/2" to 3/8" adaptor) I use this setup a lot in my job on real stubborn torx bolts and I'm yet to break one. I even bought 2 T50's for when I break one, I work on site and need back ups of various tools. I've tried loads of other torx bits and even broken multiple impact specific ones. The gold coloured snap on ones are amazing.
