I picked up a set of these Snap-on open end & socket head wrenches marked OH. Any idea what they're used for? Can't find them listed in the current Snap-on catalog. They look like a specialty wrench set ... I'm guessing for front suspension work??

I'm familiar with the standard saltus wrench which has the open end and the socket head. But those are typically standard wrench length with the chrome beam. These are three times as long as standard and have a round industrial finish beam with a flattened open end that is unusually long. I'm thinking they've got to be some kind of specialty wrench.

I have a few fh-** wrenches that had sockets on both ends. IIRC the oh-*** just stood for open end on one end flex on the other.Maybe Snapmom will chime in.What is the date code? All the saltus type wrenches were marketed for use in tight spaces.

The largest ones were for front end alignment allthough the extra length made them usefull in other areas .
