In general, the Snap On web site is pretty poor IMHO, pictures are too small the search function *****, yada, yada.

That lead me to see if I could find their catalog on the 'net. I found one from a site in South America, but they put it into some sort of viewer that runs painfully slow.

Does anyone know if Snap-on Posts a pdf or other format electronic version of their catalog(s) that are easy to access, runs quickly, etc? Am I asking for too much from the premium tool supplier in the US?

Thanks.

You can view the industrial catalog here. This is the only one I've ever seen. Not as great as a pdf, but it's the same as my print edition.

That's the one I found previosuly. Very slow interface; better than nothing but not by that much.

A lot of the stuff in the paper catalog can't be found on the website w/o entering the part #. Then usually, there's no product info and you can't see a picture and if you can, it's just a small one. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there w/o a dealer who would buy more if they could see it. I bet they are losing sales w/ the way their website is done.

agreed- the interface of their online catalog is painful.
for ease of use, i'd rather shop with wholesale tool or harry epstein

They have the worst search engine. I think HF has the best on-line site.

I agree the website is lacking. But I can usually find what I am looking for. However, have you seen the catalogs from a truck? You should really get one if you can, they are great. I just picked up the latest 2010 one today.

I have one a few months old I can mail you if you want. Or I can even try to get another new one for you tomorrow.

I've spent time on Mac and Matco's and they are horrible. Snap On's is much better, but could use some inprovement. I would love a PDF catalog, but that would probably just cause me to spend more.
