snap on or mac box ?

i think this is a snap on by looking at the top lid. i dont think mac had a box with a lid that closed only in the front?

guy doesnt know what it is, but its super cheap. almost doesnt matter. waiting to hear if its roller bearing or not.

EDIT. mac sticker right on the top box. doh. i shouldnt have asked what kinda slides. dude just sold it. i had a chance.....

that bottom looks an awful lot like the Beach made Husky sitting next to me...

its a mac. i didnt see it at first glance. its gone. i shouldnt have asked questions, should have bought it. asking was 250.... im sure he let it go for 200 knowing the way clist works around here.

The top box posted was either branded as Mac or Husky. Proto also offers a version with different drawer pulls. OK boxes, but not the greatest from my understanding. Way overpriced from Mac, right up there with SO KRA prices. Back when HD carried the same box, you could buy it cheaper then a comparable craftsman. That box is either late 90's to early 2000's. The other Mac posted is the earlier model. That box is kinda odd as it is basically three sections welded together. Also that box is pretty much directly a Beach box. Anyways all the smaller Mac and Proto boxes are in away Beach. Stanley first partnered with Beach and then bought Beach later.
