Snap on OSH???

I bought a snap on wrench today, there is no date code it just says snap on, on one side and osh 18 pat 3273430 on the other. What year is it from?

Well it means its from the flank drive era which is if I'm not mistaken from about 1966-82 and during that period snap on was very inconstant with stamping date codes and only a few were stamped with date codes but on the bright side I would rather have a wrench with flank drive then one from the 1950s that's date coded.

Patent number 3273430 is from 1966, so it's no older than that.
