I have a Nix Mini 2 tool which is a small scanner for colour-matching paints.

If I scan my snap on tool box (which is the red colour), can the local paint shop match that colour?
Forgive me if this sounds like a totally N00b question, but I have trolled through a tonne of posts regarding the snap on paint and am no closer to figuring out how to get a few gallons of paint for my new vintage box (KRA3800 + KRA3810A).

What brand and paint color is the NIX app telling you? Its website says the company is partnered with top paint brands, so the scanner must be giving you some kind of info. Pantone colors are universal. Is the problem that you don't have a listed paint vendor close to you?
