Curious if anyone has this compact drill that uses thread drill bits.

In doing some searching I don't really see a cheaper option, actually most options are more expensive, especially when I factor in my discount with Snap on.

Looking for a tight quarter option for drilling out broke fasteners. Would be really nice if Milwaukee would come out with something similar to the 14.4 snap on cordless version of this.

Picture for reference.

Aviation drills. Check eBay for surplus. Sioux or Desoutier (sp?) Might have a cheaper option than so at regular price but probably not if u get a discount

I'm 99% sure it was desoutter we had in the mold shop

ebay would be the best to look for a good used sioux/ taylor/ jiffy/ dotco/ ingersoll rand/ chicago pneumatic "right angle aircraft drill"

If use is very occasional you may get away with something like this
adapter but its not as easy to work with.

or a pancake drill adapter

Snap on doesn't make this BTW, it's a rebrand. Put this on a high speed air ratchet and you've got some options. 3/8 is also an option, although I very rarely think to use either of mine.
