Hey guys, I am rebuilding a ph3050b that I just got on eBay. I have all the guts out of the trigger side of the gun, but can't take apart the hammer side. I have the barrel slid out of the body but am having trouble figuring out how to get the guts out.

The big "cap" at the rear of the barrel (with the two pinholes in the end) unscrews from the barrel...not sure but I think they still use a pin in the side of the cap to keep it from unthreading from the barrel. If there's a hole in the side of the cap near the O-ring then there is/was a pin...if there's no pin in that hole then it was loctited with red loctite...good luck getting that apart.

so take a pin punch to push the pun out and then remove the rear cap? The rear cap you mention doesn't feel threaded on because there is some play in it. I can wiggle it back and forth and side to side. Its not a lot but noticeable. Just to be clear we are talking about the non bit end ya?

Just got off the phone with Snapon, looks like the pin #15 in the link pulls out of the end cap and then the end cap unscrews. The tech told me they don't replace the pin, the loctite the end cap back on. Will report back tonight.
