Noticed the other day that my 20 year old pit wagon/tool wagon has paint or powder coating peeling hard on bottom near seam. This tool box was purchased new by me. Delivered to my7 hangar and never moved or touched by anyone but myself. Someone advised me they think it should be warranteed. I didnt even cosnsider a box would be warranteed for life. It is definitely an adhesion problem of original coating. Has anyone else had an issue? If so did they warranty it? Thanks so much for your advice.

Do you have a rep you do business with regularly? If so I'd ask him first. If he tells you to pound sand I'd call up the 800 number and see if you get anywhere. Some reps may or may not have more pull with warranty/ management than you just calling up the 800 number.

The best you're gonna do is a small discount on a new box from them. If this is anywhere near the bottom of the box they will claim floor solvents, which honestly messes up a lot of boxes.
