Snap on pliers codes

So, surfing the web looking for snap on pliers info, I'm getting confused about the part numbers/codes. For instance:

96cf
96acf
97cf

These all look the same to me. What am I missing?

96 versions are the same size

97 are a bit longer

95 is a bit shorter

The CF is a generational marker (CF is newer than CP); CF is 'cold forged'.

A is a revisin marker, CF, ACF (2nd gen) --> CP, ACP, BCP, CCP (generations of earlier ones)

The A(CF) revision has a stamped 'S' logo+usa, the original (CF) had laser marks only.

There might be some very modest revision beyond that, but you'd need an expert.

I guess you're missing that those three part numbers aren't all the same.
