I have an older Snap On pliers that is great for removing certain types of lock rings.

I would like to buy another, but there is not visible part number nor can I find a similar item in the catalog or website.

61ACP, they are great pliers, I have a pair and am also thinking about an additional pair for my road box.

I have a similar set from MAC, 718 is I believe the model number. Great pliers, always seem to reach for those before anything.

I have a pair of Mac ones as well and are my favorite but mine are like a hybrid of those and a slip joint plier and look just like a ducks head even with eye ball so I guess they aren't same.. But tips are and are longer than regular slip joints I call them my duck bill pliers..

Huh.

I looked at the linked page and did not recognize them. Now that I know what they are, I will be purchasing more.

The image below depicts the type of snap ring I used them for. What is the "proper" tool for this type?
