Snap-On price check

If you were going to buy or sell a set of snap-on sockets 1/2" drive 12 point, 15 impact sockets in the set from 3/8" to 1 1/4". (used set)
What would be your buy or sell price?

Set has;
3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 15/16, 1", 1 1/16, 1 1/8, 1 3/16, & 1 1/4.

1-1/16 & 1-3/16" are NLA in shallow 12 pt. If a 15 pc set is in great condition it could go for perhaps $150, but in used condition I think it is still better around $100.

I bought a similar set on eBay for $120 including shipping. The 1 3/16" was not included though. These were in very nice condition, no markings or damage and they came in a Snap On blow molded tray. (Not the newer magnetic style.)

Heres a pic of them, from 1/2" - 13/16" seem to have been well used but the larger ones are pretty nice.

They have been setting in a tool box for more than twenty years.

They are in really good condition, price would depend on buyer & seller and anything in the ranges mentioned would be fair.

If you want to figure up the set cost at Snap On for new I would think ~50% of that would be in the ballpark. Might take a little time but that would give you a good baseline value.

Well now that you mention that the value just went to 50 bucks.

Just kidding. Search eBay for that set also you can find what people are willing to pay under completed listings.

For me to resell them I would have to pay 100 or less. But 150 is a fair price for the set as pictured. Good luck with your sale.

Good luck with the sale. I'm sure you know already but I wish you accepted PayPal because this would be a fine addition to my 6 point set and I would definitely be considering it because your price is more than fair in my opinion.

Thats just something I never set up, don't know why guess I'm old fashioned.
